Diesels Plus is a proud supplier of Dongfeng-Cummins and their engine range which is well suited to our applications when matched correctly. Dongfeng-Cummins Engine Company Co (DCEC) is a 50:50 Joint Venture Company established between Dongfeng Motor Corporation and Cummins Inc (USA) in June 1996.
 
Dongfeng Motor Corp is one of the largest manufacturers of commercial vehicles and passenger vehicles in China. Cummins is a leading company in product development, design, manufacturing and sales of diesel and CNG engines in the world. Dongfeng-Cummins benefits from strong support from Cummins in product development, manufacturing, quality, and management to continuously increase its competitiveness.
 
With the introduced electronic control engine platform, the technical centre owned by the company can design, develop and test engines specifically to meet diversified customer needs. The company's main product line up includes: B & C series engines of mechanical fuel system with displacement volume covering 3.9 litre (60 150 HP), 5.9 litre (160 235 HP), 8.3 litre (220 325 HP) which comply with Euro II emission standards and Tier I for off highway mechanical equipment.
 
The company also produces ISBe, ISCe, and ISLe series engines, 3.9 to 9 litres with full electronic control and a power range from a 100 to 400 HP which complies with Euro III and IV emission standards and Tier II, Tier III standards for off highway mechanical equipment, Dongfeng and Cummins strategic cooperation has undergone 4 major steps since the mid-80's when it started as a license agreement for the B Series engine to today's development of a new 13 litre engine which will take advantage of Cummins Industry leading technology that will make it capable of meeting future emission standards in global heavy duty markets. Dongfeng and Cummins are also joint partners in the Fleetguard filter manufacturing plant in Shanghai.
